Three Ways to Live with More Thanksgiving
Cultivating an attitude of gratitude is a powerful way to enrich our lives. Studies have repeatedly shown that individuals who make a conscious effort to live with thanksgiving experience better emotional well-being and physical health than others who don’t.
Practicing gratitude also helps us to see ourselves and others through the eyes of our Creator. When we are more aware of our blessings and grateful for what we have been given, we are in a better position to love God and others. Gratitude helps us become more aware of our reality and live in the present moment.

- What brought me happiness?

What matters is that you consistently take a few moments every day to to recognize your blessings. Try committing to your journal for one month.

Most likely, the recipient of your letter will have had no idea what an impact they have made and they will be deeply touched to discover your feelings of gratitude.
Take a Gratitude Walk
Take time to get out in nature and walk for 20 minutes or more. While you walk, focus on the multitude of things for which you are grateful. That may include relationships, material comforts, your body, mind and health, or even your spiritual nature.
Pay attention to everything you see, hear, feel, smell, and taste along your walk. It is a powerful way to become more mindful and aware of your blessings.
